TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF HIRE
Please note that all rentals are subject to the detailed terms and conditions which appear on the reverse of the hire contract.

BASIS OF CHARGE
Charges are based on a day as being 24 hours (the minimum rental period). Additional hours or part of an hour is charged at one sixth of the daily rate.

DRIVING LICENCE
The hirer or any other driver must be in possession of a full unendorsed driving licence which they have held for 12 consecutive months prior to hire. Visitors from overseas must produce a valid licence issued in their permanent residence or an international driving permit. Bolts Car Hire reserve the right to accept or reject any application to rent.

AGE LIMITS
Drivers should be between 21 and 70 years although the upper age limit may be waived at the discretion of Bolts Car Hire.

INSURANCE
Fully comprehensive insurance is included in our rates for accidental damage to the vehicle except for the first excess amount which is payable by the customer. However, this amount can be waived by paying the Collision Damage Waiver for an additional daily payments stated in our current tariff. If the CDW is refused the customer will be required to leave a deposit for the full excess amount. CDW does not cover damage to window glass, mirrors, tyres or punctures, and wheel rims.

ACCIDENTS
Any accident or damage to the vehicle must be reported to Bolts Car hire within 24 hours of occuring and an accident report form fully completed. Failure to comply with the foregoing will revoke the terms of the CDW and may result in repair costs and/or claims against Bolts Car Hire Ltd being charged to the hirer.

FUEL
Fuel is not included in the rates. Vehicles are supplied with a full tank of fuel and all fuel is at the hirer's expense.

PAYMENT
Payment is required at commencement of rental for the duration of hire. Cheques are accepted provided they are supported by a Banker's Guarantee Card. All major credit cards are accepted. Credit will only be extended to approved accounts.

VAT
Value Added Tax will be added at the appropriate rate to all taxable charges including fuel deposit and insurance waiver.

RATES
Rates are liable to change without notice and charges will be made according to the rates in force at the time of rental.
